New Music I Like

Here's some new music I like, there's some country music, some classical music, and some pop music too. I hope you like it too.

1. Thompson Square - Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not

Thompson Square are a new American country music duo, comprised of husband and wife team Keifer and Shawna Thompson. I love this song, it's a cute romantic story, which is helped by the fact this is a husband and wife duo. You get the feeling the lyrics are telling you little snippets of their romance and how they got together. It feels real and natural and totally believable. I love it! This video is currently number 1 in CMT.com's music video charts, and well deserved. Enjoy...

2. Camilla Kerslake - Closest Thing To Crazy

Camilla Kerslake is an English classical crossover singer with a beautiful angelic voice. I originally loved this song when I first heard Katie Melua singing it, who also has a beautiful voice. Somehow Camilla Kerslake manages to surpass the original, with even more beautiful melodic tones. I love this...

3. Sick Puppies - Maybe

Sick Puppies are an Australian rock band who just seem so fresh right now. It could be that they have a new album out, Polar Opposite, and that they're boasting "This is Sick Puppies like you've never heard them before", or maybe just that I've not really paid attention to them before. But they feel new and fresh to me, I love this song, I love the message in it, and I can't help but feel happy and optimistic when listening to and watching this song here...

4. The Hoosiers - Bumpy Ride

The Hoosiers are a fun English pop/rock band, probably best known for their Goodbye Mr A single released a few years ago. This new song has really great vocals, an unusual sound, and just eats into your brain. I really like it...

5. Muse - Neutron Star Collision

This song is perhaps not as new as the others I've chosen here, but I really like it. Muse have done this song as part of the soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie, and I love it! They sing about how Love is forever, and for vampires, it really is forever. A brilliant and powerful song, to a beautiful and powerful movie...
